February is Black History Month!

Black History month may be nearly through, but it is always a good time to be learning about diverse Black communities!

Click here for an amazing compilation of FREE reading material by Black authors. There is a wide variety of material - from film scripts, to speaches, to novels, to political history. If you are looking specifically for youth friendly titles, check out Zora Neale Hurston (Their Eyes Were Watching God), or Octavia Butler (found under the Afro-Futurism tab). This wonderful selection of readings was found on McGill's Black History Month Facebook page.
