Saamis Youth Changemakers Helping Shape Their Community

The Saamis Newcomer Youth Advisory Council-SNYAC is involved in a fun project in partnership with the City of Medicine Hat and Shaw. The project's goal is to make Medicine Hat a welcoming community and to showcase diversity in the city with pictures and video interviews of locals. Our youth change-makers were interviewed and shared their thoughts about being immigrants and living in Medicine Hat. This was a great addition to the project and also empowered our youth to share their valuable opinion.
