Shape the future of young people in Canada!

Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister and Minister of Youth,announced several ways for young Canadians to take part in the development of Canada’s first national youth policy.

Through this platform, there are a variety of opportunities for engagement in the national dialogue, including:

• Young Canadians can provide input into ideas that they feel are most important by completing a questionnaire, posting comments or creating a video;
• A toolkit is available for young Canadians interested in becoming a youth ambassador and hosting their own dialogue in their community; and
• Young Canadians will also be able to attend in-person policy dialogue sessions, which will be held across the country in the coming months

This initiative will help make sure young Canadians have a voice in matters important to them, including on international issues, and that their ideas and perspectives are incorporated in Canada’s first national youth policy.
